AdventureLink Tours is a Canadian travel wholesaler located 1.5 hours west of Jasper in beautiful McBride, British Columbia, Canada.
McBride is a great place surrounded by parks and wilderness. The VIA Rail Skeena train stops here on its way between Jasper to Prince Rupert on the coast. The Rocky Mountaineer train also passes through town as it travels along the Fraser Discovery Route.
AdventureLink Tours seeks to help monetize unspoiled wilderness in order to encourage its stewardship and preservation. By travelling to see these wonderful places, you are demonstrating that they have immense value, both now and in the future.

AdventureLink Tours has been a marketing sponsor and web designer for Peak Paldor Trekking & Expeditions in Nepal since 2001. The big news this year is that Peak Paldor shall be guiding the first Thai expedition to Mount Everest in 2008, and the first Vietnamese expedition to Everest in 2009. The teams shall be climbing from the Tibet side of the mountain. In 2007, the teams trained on Mt. Kinabalu in Malaysia, and Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. In the spring of 2008, they will do further training on Yala and Island Peaks in the Langtang and Khumbu regions of the Nepal Himalaya. We are very proud of our Sherpa friends and are happy that the internet has made the world a better place by making it easier to bring people and places together.
NEWSFLASH from Nepal (April 08): "Our Vietnam group are climbing Mt Everest from Nepal side now (because of unrest in China/Tibet). The climbers are 4 Vietnamese, 1 Thai and 1 USA. American has been hired by Vietnamese as a camera man.... There are more than 40 parties and really crowded at the base camp and big problem of the porters and we paid a lot for the porters because it has been competition to pay more and more to take porters there in Lukla and Namche."

If you are still reading this, you are probably trying to find out everything you can about AdventureLink Tours. Your online research may have already led to the discovery that AdventureLink Tours was previously based in the town of Squamish BC (between Vancouver and Whistler) before moving to the village of McBride in 2006.
Why did we move north to the Rockies? For the same reason you want to come visit -- it's paradise! We could continue to wax poetic about the many virtues of the Canadian Rockies but time is short so the following picture of the alpine meadows just a short drive above town can explain it better:
As mentioned earlier, McBride is located about 1.5 hours west of Jasper. We can arrange for a rail connection from Jasper to McBride, meet & greet at the train station, a comfortable cabin or B&B, and then have licensed guides take you for an exceptionally scenic 4x4 excursion into the mountains with options for an easy walk along the endless alpine ridges. There are many other recreational activities available for guests that would like to extend their trip for a few more days, both in the summer and winter seasons.
These new packages are currently in development for the website but, in the meantime, please feel free to contact us if you are interested in adding a side excursion from the main resort areas of the Rockies.
